    — J, Tuba, MM Juilliard

  • "The Musician Audition Lab was very logical, very well laid out. It's so much better to take a step back, put a science behind it, a methodology. Maybe that's what's been missing."

FAQs

  • This program is for ANY musician who is preparing for any major performance event, like an orchestral audition, regardless of instrument. The main focus of the program is on practice habits, performance readiness, and demystifying auditions themselves. While each participant gets regular feedback on their playing, we are not teaching instrument-specific technique directly.

  • The Lab is designed for participants to be able to join from anywhere. Studio classes take place virtually at a pre-scheduled time, and all other information can be accessed digitally asynchronously.

  • While much of the language is geared toward orchestra auditions, The Lab is a preparation methodology that will support your efforts to prepare for any audition or performance.

  • The Lab is designed to help anyone who is taking an audition or preparing for a performance, such as a recital. If you aren’t sure it’s for you, feel free to schedule a call so we can discuss your journey and see if we could support your progress!

  • The Lab is a targeted preparation methodology, a supportive community, and an accountability partner. While we guide you toward reaching your full performance potential, we don’t teach instrument-specific technique. If you are currently studying with a private teacher, The Lab is meant to be supplemental to any established lessons and will not interfere with your lessons.
